Beauty and the Beast

I chose this as my featured deviation because it was the first drawing of Yeti and Zee I ever did, and it was the first drawing I ever gave to my beloved. But besides that, it is a really good drawing that I'm actually proud of, and it deserves more attention that it got.

I bleed it out, digging deeper just to throw it away...

So yeah, current news. Christmas is coming, and I'm happy about it. I love Christmas. I've bought a few presents, and I'll be buying a few more this friday hopefully, if I can get out to the mall. I've even wrapped a few, and I have my tree out - I know it's early, but the tree was a gift from my Nana because I didn't have my own, and I wanted to put it up. It's not decorated yet, but the presents I wrapped are already under it. The only bad part about Christmas is that Brendan's mother has invited me to christmas lunch, and I don't want to be rude plus Brendan wants to spend part of christmas with his family (I respect that) so I'm gonna go. I just don't like his mother, and I know I will eat NOTHING - I never eat at christmas, full of seafood and cold meats I hate and growss salads. Why can there never be a nice simple salad without all the dressings and colesaw stuff? Ew. Carrot and celery sticks for me, thanks.

Wow, rambling. Haven't seen that in a while.

But I've also been a bit melancholy. I've been depressing myself over something, and there appears to be nothing I can do about it by myself.
The thing is, I HAD a friend. A really good friend too. We were awesome mates. But then something happened, and we had a fight.
We never forgave each other. Never talked after that.
And the kicker is... I want to. I want to talk to my mate, I want to forgive them, even though it's been so long since I've seen them. But it seems like they don't want to talk to me, even after all the times I've tried to contact him.

Do I hold out? Maybe they've been busy, I don't know. I've literally heard nothing of them since we fought. I don't know what they're doing, I don't know if they hate me, I don't know if they've been trying to contact me. I don't know...

It's a bad predicament. I know I can't get over it or stop obsessing until they talk to me, even if it is to say "piss off bitch, I never want to talk to you again" etc. At least then I would know they didn't want to forgive me, and I could move on. And at least no-one could say I wasn't willing, you know?

Anyway. I'm going to stop rambling and do a quiz, and tonight I should have some doodles to put up, as I finally found a scanner nearby to use and I got my tablet+photoshop back from Narnia (it's been missing for months).

Okay, so I'm supposed to tell you about myself.

My nickname is Zeki, and I'm approximately 19 years old (Born of the 12th May 1990). I'm an aspiring concept artist from Australia, and I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil.

I have a steady boyfriend who I love very much, and a cat I adore. I couldn't live without either of them, and it's those two who inspire me and save me.
